I'm a full-stack software engineer in Birmingham, Alabama — by day I build enterprise software for financial institutions, and the rest of the time I'm shipping apps under this name. I didn't start in software. I studied biology, then spent years as a sales engineer sitting across the table from customers, figuring out what they actually needed before pitching anything. That habit never left. Before I quote you a build, I'd rather understand the business behind it — sometimes the best answer is a smaller app than you came in asking for.
